Mixing a dreamer and pragmatic approach at the same time, I love to help organizations understand the value of diversity and to give people tools to express their unique talents and feel welcomed and included, exactly as they are.
Valeria has always been attracted by the possibility to create a real impact for people development. Concrete and creative at the same time, she loves listening to clients’ needs and then designing solutions to help people learn and express their potentials. She works with large organizations from different industries –hotel, retail, consulting, banking, insurance, NGO, lighting-, in Italy and abroad, training people at all levels and facilitating cultural change within organizations. Her multicultural origins and curious approach facilitates her in dealing with people from different nationalities, being able to establish positive and solid relationship in the long-term.
Leadership Development Experience
Valeria is Associate Partner of TPC Leadership in Italy. She has experience in the full training cycle, from clients’ need analysis to design and facilitation of training, workshop and conventions. Her main expertise lies in Diversity & Inclusion strategy development, Leadership and People Management skills development.
As a coach, she helps people especially during phases of career transition, in interpreting their leadership role, or to develop self-confidence and assertiveness. As a group facilitator, she mixes an engaging and outcome oriented approach favouring methodologies such as Design Thinking. Her organizational background working both in Retail and the Cruise industry fostered the capability to better understand participants’ issues inside their Companies.
Other Relevant Experience
Valeria was originally trained in Organizational Psychology and an Executive Master in HR Management. Women Leadership and Diversity Management, subject of her University’s thesis, brought her to become member of the European Professional Women Network, an international association enhancing women growth in business, coordinating their Mentoring Program in 2012.
Her previous experience as a Learning & Development Manager onboard Costa Cruises, involved living onboard for 7 months-long periods travelling through Asia and Europe with a constantly changing crew, working to promote a cultural change by facilitating the transition towards a more respectful and inclusive leadership dealing with a truly multicultural environment (>50 different nationalities).
Her approach to D&I has roots as well in an experience as internal consultant at Generali Global Diversity & Inclusion Department (2019), where she dealt with the design and organization of their Women Career Track plus supported the alignment between the business and D&I strategies for Generations and LGBT.
